The list

Well, not much has been added to my list of stuff for kids in the area to do. We ended up getting a dresser from a friend for Christian and Ethan's room so most of the afternoon was spent trying to make the minimalist and the pack rat both happy. Not an easy task.

I don't know why I let them talk me in to getting rid of their dresser when we moved here. It was the prefect dresser for two people sharing a room, but they convinced me that they could just keep their clothes on the shelves (3) on their closet. I gave them a year and then posted on Freecycle asking for a dresser to save my sanity. A friend had one and offered it to us and the rest is just as boring as this story has been so far.

Ethan and I found an indoor skate park in town somewhere. He is going to email them and ask if they have hours for BMX bikes, or if they just allow skateboards. There is an admission fee so it is not a perfect solution, but it is a start.

yeah there isn't really that much here...unless they like to fish or hike LOL...it's pitiful really...with all these empty buildings you would think they would put them to go use and do something recreational for kids.
